Who We Are

      Many of our nation's early patriots were Freemasons, as well as thirteen signers of the Constitution and fourteen Presidents of the United States, beginning with George Washington.

      Today, the more than four million Freemasons around the world come from virtually every occupation and profession. Within the Fraternity, however, they all meet as friends.

      These are but a few members of our proud fraternity. Among our brotherhood are also Senators, Congressmen, Captains of Industry, Famous Athletes, Musicians, Artists, and Civic Leaders. While we are proud of these great men that we are able to call brothers, we are equally proud of our members that are not known around the world, or even around the country. Their fame may not extend past the community in which they live, but they are just as vital a part of our great brotherhood.
